Covid-19 Information And Resources

For up to date information on the Corona Virus in South Africa, please click here.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak in South Africa and the global pandemic, Autism South Africa has made the decision to cancel all training, talks, face-to-face support and meetings until further notice. This includes all of our awareness and acceptance events. We understand that there are negative implications to this, however our staff, their families, families who come to us for support and our communities need to be prioritised and we need to ensure that everyone stays healthy to avoid overloading our health systems.

We are still available via email and telephonically for support. Our office landline has been diverted; and you will go through to our receptionist Elizabeth – she will then do her best to assist you or refer you to the relevant staff member.

We thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. Let’s all practice our social distancing and do our part in trying to prevent this virus from wreaking havoc through our beautiful country.
